Your tasks
Completion and on-time delivery of maintenance tasks on the SR Technics customer aircrafts in compliance with the contracted services and customer expectations;
Perform inspection, repair and modification work as well as component replacement based on current authorization and training level
To communicate at all times with customer liaison engineers, MCC and customer service reps to ensure that they are fully informed of any developments
Responsible for the standard of work carried out by yourself and those under your control
Compliance with regulatory rules and regulations
Ensuring the equipment, tools and premises in your charge are maintained to satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the company
Delivering highest level of health & safety and quality standards in industry
Improve your work environment, compliance with continuous improvement standards
Perform 5S at your workplace (in office, equipment and store area)
Other duties as may be required from time to time
Work shift pattern of either 2 days, 2 nights or 4 nights, 4 off

Your profile

 Experience working in an Aviation MRO environment
 Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair with valid EASA Part 66 License B1 or B2
 Hold type ratings for A319/20/21 CFM-56 & B737-600/700/800/900
 High degree of customer focus, internal and external
 Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organization
 Demonstrate working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
 Fluent in English (written and oral)
 Flexible and able to work night shift and weekend
 Good physical condition
 Hold a full drivers license which will allow airside driving in UK

Project Engineer in Belgium (12 month contract with possible extensions)

Implement product specifications, client specific requirements and manufacture processes, the development, organisation, coordination, implementation of major product and process modifications in a high volume context.

Job demands

Education: Engineer or similar through experience

Experience: 3 years in industry.

Responsibilities

  • You elaborate and install (part of) the production process

Project Quality Control Engineer in Belgium (12 month contract)

Goal of the position

Proceeding from the quality policy, product specifications, client specific requirements and manufacture processes, the development, organisation, coordination, implementation and update of measurement instruments and systems aimed at quality control, in order to guarantee an efficient quality assurance striving for Zero Defects and this for new customer projects and major product and process modifications in a high volume context.

Responsibilities and scope of results

  1. Introducing new projects and/or sizeable modifications to existing products, taking care of the drawing up of control plans, the listing and purchase of all the necessary measurement instruments, indicating the consequences in relation to the plant’s quality control department, in such a way that the quality assurance can be carried out efficiently and in a goal-oriented way (this includes required personnel, layout, control equipment, costs, capability studies, safe launch plans, PFMEAs, PPAP documentation etc.).
  2. The notification at your own initiative of possible flaws in the quality control system, formulating and explaining improvements and implementing these after fine-tuning and approval, in such a way that the quality can be monitored in a more goal-oriented way.
  3. The checking of plans and specifications for completeness, exactitude and attainability in relation to all quality aspects and taking actions where necessary.
  4. Drawing up, by means of plans, provisional BVOs etc., control instructions for both production and quality control. Where required, taking care of alternative control methods during try-out runs and pre-production series
  5. Coordinating the implementation of the detailed control BVOs for new projects and major modifications.
  6. Analyse quality problems and/or complaints and propose improvements and solutions, maintain the necessary contacts with the various clients in relation to this.
  7. Take care of the specific reporting and documentation as regards the various customers (sampling messages, PPAP, PSW, part certification, safe launch plans, 8D reports etc.).
  8. Provide technical measurement advice for the resolution of technical measurement problems.  The analysis and study of complicated measurement systems in order to ensure the necessary stand-by in the field of technical measurement in the event of problems.
  9. The drawing up and updating of regulations and procedures with regard to the quality management system.
  10. The organisation, compilation and giving of internal training courses in the field of quality techniques (SPC, 8D, PFMEA, PPAP, etc.), measurement techniques and the use of measuring apparatus for the benefit of all users.
  11. Keeping up to date with all the new developments in the domain of measurement tools through participation in trade fairs, benchmark competition and customers etc.
  12. The request, analysis and comparison of offers from measurement tools and measurement machines with the goal of submitting a well-founded choice to the management for approval.

Laminator required for aircraft production work.

Project Quality Engineer R&D

Location: Belgium

Job description:
• Planning and implementing quality assurance activities to ensure that development processes and standards are followed in the projects you are assigned to.
• Close cooperation with both the project manager and with your QA team leader.
• You will provide staff and management with objective insight into processes and associated work products.
• You will make a recommendation on project process and work product quality at every major project milestone.
• You will be the partner of the project managers and process owners for improving the processes applied.
• You will be involved in other process audit programs and improvement projects within R&D.
• You will report to your QA team leader.

Profile:
• You have an engineering degree preferably in electronics / mechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Engineering experience – 5 to 10 years – is a must.
• You have a good knowledge of automotive industry quality systems (e.g. ISO/TS, APQP, …) preferably also of CMMi. Extra assets can be:
• auditor experience
• qualification as a green or black belt six sigma
• experience as an FMEA moderator
• You have an analytical mindset; you are goal-oriented with a high degree of perseverance.
• You have strong people skills, thanks to your strong communication and language (English) skills you know how to obtain objective answers and to transform process deviations into improvement opportunities.
• You excel in teamwork and are strong in reporting knowledge and results.
